Grand Central Terminal, built in 1913 in the Beaux Arts style, was the realization of Cornelius Vanderbilt's dream for a grand transportation facility in New York City. This feagment of Tennessee pink marble was recovered from the floor of Vanderbilt Hall, the Terminal's original Main Waiting Room, during a partial renovation of the Hall undertaken in the spring of 2008.
Limited edition of 500. Measures approx 4 3/4" x 4" x 1 1/4" tall.
